A 17th Century Coaching Inn, situated on the A619, a main artery through the popular market town of Bakewell. It is close to nearby shops, opposite the award winning Bath Gardens, and in the centre of a well-established tourist haven and local markets every Monday. Bakewell is the only market town situated in the Peak District National Park. It is about thirteen miles southwest of Sheffield, 31 miles southeast of Manchester, and 30 miles north of the county town of Derby; nearby towns include Matlock to the south, Chesterfield to the east and Buxton to the west.
We offer our guests a choice of five en-suite double bedrooms and you can optionally include our freshly cooked breakfast featuring locally sourced produce. Breakfast is NOT included in the room price. If you require breakfast please ensure this is selected at the time of your booking. Breakfast orders are taken from between 08:30 until 09:30 only in our restaurant.
We do not allow smoking or pets in our overnight accommodation.
The pub has a central bar servery, a raised 30 seater restaurant, a lower lounge area, a dog friendly taproom and a large outside garden area.
